At All Due Respect: Court Merrigan

Court Merrigan is up at All Due Respect with "Two Brothers," a haunting tale about Thailand and loyalty. I found out about Merrigan's writing last year and since then he's made a splash in the online crime fiction world.

    Court is a master at letting his reader experience the complexities a place, a civilization or a strata of society without once resorting to paragraphs of exposition. He simply drops his reader into the middle of things and lets it explain itself almost at the subconcious level. That's hard to do, but Court handles it deftly with the light touch of a master.
